Summary of Bargaining Proposals

Our bargaining team is awaiting a response from the governor's negotiators after delivering a comprehensive counterproposal for settlement on Tuesday, July 27. Our counterproposal was necessary after the state failed to address any of the key issues in our original settlement proposal.

Our counterproposal addresses six key issues including salaries, the personal leave program, pensions, holidays and overtime, and the length of the agreement.

Negotiations are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, August 4.
